Whoa! See Jane Go!

BACKGROUND
See Jane Go is a new company created on the platform of a ride hail service intended totally for women. The Jane brand concept was created by a father-daughter team desiring a safe, female only driver and rider alternative to Lyft and Uber.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
The key concept expanded on an idea from See Jane Go to create a retro inspired and all-inclusive brand platform that empowered women and illustrated the friendly, approachable and outgoing personality of the brand. It was our objective to get the dialogue going with potential drivers and riders with our branding efforts and make women feel empowered and well represented with the brand.

LOGO DESIGN
A key concept was to create an identifiable and impactful branding color called “Jane Red” that we could feature in all brand communications and expand to a myriad of applications. In all cases, we designed logos that had retro inspiration at the core with contemporary executions to reflect the modern and outgoing brand personality.

BACKGROUND
Dynamic Signal is a social site and app that promotes employee advocacy to ignite brand awareness, employee engagement, and revenue. To re-energize the brand we partnered with The B Complex in San Francisco to assign dynamic designs to the branding concepts they created.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
We created an employee-centric, youth-culture-oriented brand design to re-energize the brand and allow the company to adapt the new designs across the board.

SOLUTION
We designed the specific turquoise color palette based on the theory that turquoise balances and recharges the emotions and inspires good communication skills and self-expression. Further, by creating the color overlay on the imagery the turquoise is not only creating a brand statement, but infusing each employee of Dynamic Signal with the “good communication” that the application promotes.

BACKGROUND
We recently partnered with a local real estate developer to launch Music Box, a premier concert venue in a key location that was ready for new ownership, a new brand position, and a new design concept.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
Our objective was to create a truly iconic brand, and the logo design was the place to start. By creating a mark that includes elements of an equalizer and represents the organ pipe installation located inside the bar the brand reflects a genuine sense of place.

SOLUTION
We branded everything with the Music Box logo and created a website that links concert goers with up-to-the-moment band and ticketing information.

BACKGROUND
Recently, we were approached to create a brand for our agency’s first medical marijuana product. The overall concept was to create an artisan brand targeted toward a more sophisticated clientele, supporting a premium brand position.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
Create an expandable and contemporary brand design truly unique in the category – intriguing buyers and garnering attention from customers. The graphic design reflects the modern concept of the product itself, while promoting the artisan quality of the chocolate.

SOLUTION
We created a unique color-blocked brand design that represents the actual product flavors and the various marijuana strains unique to each variety of chocolates. The effect is contemporary with hints of refined whimsy –packaged in a keepsake box.

BACKGROUND
Every building added to the Emmes portfolio undergoes a major investment and transformation. Our agency has created a brand identity for each of the commercial buildings in the portfolio, the 1 Columbia Place brand design was first.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
Our key concept was to create a unique brand presence for 1 Columbia Place that would illustrate the Emmes vision and easily translate into informative and inspirational graphic design pre-construction, during and after the launch.

SOLUTION
We created a brand that is professional and personable. The leasing team is armed with creative materials, and the building reflects a community place in downtown San Diego, not just an anonymous work space.

The Emmes Group of Companies makes up a unique collection of commercial real estate buildings in the downtown communities of San Diego. Our agency partnered with Emmes to design campaigns for the Corporate Emmes brand and each sub-branded commercial building in the portfolio.

Our key objective was to create a local presence and develop messaging to introduce Emmes Realty into the local market place.

SOLUTION
By keeping the Emmes brand design professional and neutral, the parent company design allows for the sub-brands to live comfortably together.

Olive PR is a recognized Public Relations firm offering businesses nationwide strategic campaigns that make an impact. Olive PR engaged us to design a website that was easy to navigate, update internally and was well branded.

Our key strategy was to create a website that uniquely featured all of Olive’s capabilities while reinforcing the artistic nature of the company culture and key client base.

SOLUTION
To maximize the creativity of Olive PR’s work and represent the diversity of their clients, our agency created a parallax WordPress website that maintained the creative nature of Olive’s work, while organizing the information into a scrollable story.

Esteban Interiors is one of San Diego’s most recognized, and finest, interior design companies specializing in personable relationships, quality and service. We partnered with them to create a new WordPress website.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
We teamed up with Esteban Interiors to create a web presence that maximized their showcased work. Our concept was to design a WordPress site that featured large photo galleries, a robust media section and entirely showcased their portfolio. We also wanted to maximize SEO by utilizing the best practices for ranking.

SOLUTION
We designed a site that allows guests to see their portfolio and capabilities. The team can easily add images and keep their portfolio current and linked to their social media.

BACKGROUND
Fins Mexican Eatery is a quick-service restaurant located in a busy strip mall close to UCSD. Fins focuses on serving a fresh and authentic Baja-style menu items and Mexican beer. We partnered with the owner to revise the Fins brand and increase awareness.

KEY STRATEGIC CONCEPT
Our key concept was to refresh and refocus the brand by returning the brand to the original Baja inspired designs. We aimed to increase sales and raise awareness about the top-quality menu and fresh ingredients and preparation by the chefs. Additionally, by working with the owner’s vision for interior renovations, we revised the brand to reflect the original Baja lifestyle vibe that Fins was known for.

SOLUTION
Our first objective was to overhaul the logo and return the brand closer to its original roots. Second, we focused on creating a solid social media and web presence by designing a WordPress website that worked to promote specials and drive traffic to the retail location. By featuring custom photography, consumers are able to see the actual quality food online before they even arrive at the Fins location. We also crafted a promotions plan and a social media strategy to engage locals and bulk up the Fins database. To support the new brand we created a new menu board concept inside the restaurant and designed the takeout menus.
